To do a proper Alternate Grip Pull-Up, you must:
- Start with the strongest hand closest to your body and grab the bar.
- Grab the bar with the other hand directly in front of your strong hand.
- Keeping the body straight, pull upward.
- Slightly bend your neck on the way up so you do not hit your head.
- Return to the dead-hang position.
- Repeat steps 3-5.
