Roll Outs with Barbell

Barbell Rollouts

To perform proper Barbell Rollouts, you must:

  1. Place an exercise mat under your knees and get into a kneeling position.
  2. Place a barbell on the floor and grab it with an overhand grip, your hands shoulder-width apart. 
  3. You should have 5-10 lb plates loaded on each side of the barbell. 
  4. Keeping your back and arms straight, slowly roll the barbell out in front of you until your arms are fully extended.
  5. Tense the abs and slowly roll the barbell back towards your knees.
