To maintain the correct form while in Front Leaning Rest Position, you must:
- Move from the position of attention to the squat position, then thrust the feet back to the front leaning rest position.
- If you have trouble with the squat thrust, you can step back with your left leg—then with your right leg—to get into the front leaning rest position.
- In the front leaning rest position, you must maintain straight body alignment from your head to your heels.
- You support your body weight on your hands (shoulder width) and on the balls of your feet.
- You must keep your feet and legs together.
